Beauty
Beauty
sleep, dream and heal
i sleep in nests of papers and cats
writings and poems and sketches are
my bed-clothes
healed by ancient memories of a time
when people were proud
and stood along side their kindred
i remember this
it fills that ache in my heart

and when I awaken, I walk about,
and find
there is kindred here
that I must go and find them
touch others . . . and feel that longing filled

I am a thirsty traveller
I have found Beauty again
and drink it in.
I fill my heart with the images of
beautiful faces,
the echoes of laughter and song

I hold them dear
and they will be etched
into the tapestry of my soul
forever

my people are not lost - just scattered a bit
in this big ol' world
I am finding Beauty

on July 20, 2006, I had a wonderful surprise!
My grand-dad, Gerry drove all the way from B.C with his wife Marilyne; and dropped in for a visit.
We went out to my Dad's camp to share the delight.
My dad's the cool guy with the cat, Fritzie, and beside him - his gal, Sue
Great people all

Star celebrates her
15th birthday!
March 14th 2:27 a.m.-
I have not looked at this website since I added the photograph just above.
I had forgotten that I made changes to this page.; and was checking the site to find my husband's favorite poem of mine.
It is on this page, and so is this photograph.
Things do not happen by accident.
The ebb and flow, the magic, the sacred,
the right place, right time, travelled downtown today after 6 months of sickness needing the air and sunshine.
A dear friend I have known for over 27 years; and have not seen in many, was late leaving work; I stepped out of a store, and into her arms, and happy, peaceful weeping.
She said it was a gold star day.
every day has a bit of gold, if you look.
I told her of my reason for a walk, not that I normally need a reason; but today I did.
One of the Sun's own beautiful rays, went back into the heavens.
Gerry took his journey to sit with his maker,
on Sunday, March 11, 2007.
His sunshine and love will be missed by many.
